![]() That is the a snapshot of a nicely presented, rich chicken curry (red or panang curry) at the Kamrai restaurant in Lemont PA. Located in the quaint village of Lemont, Kamrai is definitely a "high end" restaurant with a nice ambience indoors and an equally nice menu pricing. Entrees are priced a little upward so it might make sense for students and others to peruse the menu online ahead of time instead of getting a sticker shock when you arrive. (most entrees are upward of $12.. even the vegetarian ones, so this is not a "regular visit" place for students. Also, they are BYOB (wine/beer only), but they do charge a $3 corkage fee. The service is a little slower than other places, but the ambience is a lot more cooler than "My Thai" on Westerley Parkway or the hustle bustle of Cozy Thai on Allen St (add to that easier parking in Lemont), so some things even out in terms of overall experience at Kamrai. My special recommendation to students would be that use your BYOB options at Cozy Thai - which is mostly walkable from most of downtown - so you don't have to worry about designated drivers when going to Kamrai. There are other reviews on your standard Yelp, Urbanspoon etc, but here I will just link to a local news article on Statecollege.com
